Unfortunately due to continuing uncertainty regarding the Covid 19 pandemic we have decided to cancel our Autumn Convention in October. We apologise for the disappointment this will cause but the safety of our members is a paramount concern. Hopefully we can reschedule in 2021. STAY SAFE EVERYONE

Pleased to announce that Festival Times 116 is now back from the printers and will be winging its way to members shortly.

Articles include 'Two Festival Survivors', 'Seeing Stars in the Park', 'The Festival of Britain Trophy Race', 'Tea for Two' and more.

Good news that Joyland Books have finally got round to printing Nick Laister and Robert Preedy's book on the history of Battersea Fun Fair. Although not all about the Festival of Britain this interesting A5 publication stretches over nearly 180 pages and traces the history of the fun fair and Festival Gardens from early planning to eventual closure in 1974. Lots of illustrations and a must for any Festivaler's bookshelf. Available at just £10.99 plus £2.99 p&p from the publishers (…/battersea-fun-fair.htm)
