Society News

Unfortunately due to continuing uncertainty regarding the Covid 19 pandemic we have decided to cancel our Spring Convention in March. We apologise for the disappointment this will cause but the safety of our members is a paramount concern. Hopefully we will be able to meet up in October. STAY SAFE EVERYONE

The Twentieth Century Society are presenting a series of online talks about various Festival related subjects including Naomi Games talking about her Father's work on the Festival Symbol, and Geoffrey Hollis's talk on the Festival Gardens in 1951. You can also catch-up with Geoffrey's recent introductory online talk about the Festival of Britain.  A small charge is made for people attending these talks (from the comfort of your own computer) but it is well worth it.
